Wedding season has arrived, and you’ve planned yours from the biggest details (location! dress!) to the tiniest (but still important) minutiae, including the finer points of your big-day hair and makeup. But what about the honeymoon? However romantic it may sound, you’re not just going to toss some sunscreen in your carry-on, cross your fingers it’s not expired, and go. Whether your destination venue will double as the scene of your post-nuptials getaway, or you’re flying from your hometown shindig to somewhere halfway around the world, preparation for your journey is key. So, we’ve come up with four escape-worthy beauty assortments for your suitcase.

If a Kenyan safari is your end game, Clarins’s SPF 50+ for your face will let you take in the flora and fauna during a Kenyan safari—minus the sunburn and freckles. Throw in designer **Ryan Roche’**s chic panama hat for extra protection. A week in Paris, on the other hand, calls for a bit more glamour: Dramatic eyeliner and blush-pink lips and nails will keep you Instagram-ready against those epic backdrops.

If you’re headed somewhere more rustic—a cottage in the wilds, an eco-campground in the mountains—you can’t forget bug repellent (we found one that also relieves post-bite pain), or a sheer lip balm for a natural look. And then there’s the beach: Anyone bound for, say, Bali or Fiji would do well to pack a kit in her carry-on with a de-puffing mask (try Korres’s cucumber formula) to combat airplane-induced under-eye bags on the trip over, and some salt spray for convincingly rumpled beach waves when you land. Check into your hotel, change into your swimsuit and head straight for the sand.
